[Surprisingly, there's no one there!
...well, no one who's making themselves obvious, anyway. There's probably -someone-, but they're doing a pretty good job of hiding in the shadows.
But then, from further back in the alley, the laughter starts.]

[It's actually some pretty decent ominous laughter, right there. Almost as though he's had practice.]
