While Ryner was comatose for his canon update, Gail took a couple day trip to spread his wings. On said trip, he met a pretty female flying type in the wild somewhere, they got to know each other a bit, they had a... thing together, and Gail brought back one of their kids to raise. This Natu is Gail's daughter.
Lori is a bit of a daydreamer. She can often be seen standing on a tree branch or something else kind of high up, staring at the clouds. When anyone calls her out on this tendency, however, she easily gets a little embarrassed about it, and she's a little bit shy around strangers. She enjoys accompanying Gail on his trips. Always has, even when she hadn't evolved yet and her wings weren't fully grown - it just involved sitting in his parcel bag. She is very happy to be able to fly on her own now though.
