When Silph Co. announced their Type: Null program, Ryner immediately bristled at the idea of made-to-order living experiments, and decided to adopt one himself in hopes to give it a shot at a better home.
Shira is, put simply, a goofball, which may be obvious from how his tongue flops out of his mouth at all times. (Yes, this happened even as a Type: Null. No, no one is sure how he did that with the mask.) He can follow a trail of tiny breadcrumbs on the ground easily and with a laser focus, but he will completely miss anything passing by that's larger than a sock. He loves to play, though, and especially loves to race around fields. Often he'll start a race without asking if the other party is ready, or even interested.
This is all unless an Ultra Beast shows up, of course, in which case his programming kicks in and he zaps into hyper-focused attack mode, but. Those situations are thankfully rare.
