Backtagging: YES PLEASE. As long as you're willing to keep it up, I'm willing too. A-Admittedly I'm a little slow to tag sometimes myself, but if the interest is there, I can go for months on one thread.
Threadhopping: As long as nothing important looks like it's being interrupted, I'm fine with this.
Fourthwalling: If, for some reason, your character has seen the anime or read the light novels, I have no problem with your character telling Ryner that they know who he is, they read about him or whatever. He'd probably just brush that off as Sion having the historians write down an awful lot about his best friend, and he'd get a little irritated with Sion for doing that, but otherwise he'd be cool with it. However, please don't tell him he's fictional. And as for telling him his future or telling anyone about certain things which make him unique without him knowing that you know... yeah please get into contact with me about that first.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I'm generally okay with a lot. The only thing I can think of that I'd like to avoid entirely is anything sexual. (False pervert accusations are perfectly okay and in fact canon, but there's a difference.)

Hugging this character: If you want, though he won't really know what to do about it. Depending on who it is, his reaction could range from stunned silence to "aaargh get it off".
Kissing this character: Light pecks, sure, if you want - see above for his likely reaction. On the mouth... ask first please.
Flirting with this character: Again, if you want. He won't return it, though, and in fact will fake obliviousness.
Fighting with this character: Please ask directly first, whether it's fist-fighting or a Pokémon battle or what. He's capable of defending himself, but will usually try to avoid fighting in general.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Light scratches and pushing over and stuff are generally okay, but anything that would do anything lasting (ex. broken bones, heavy bleeding, concussions) please ask me first.
Killing this character: Not unless you have an incredibly good reason. Besides, this is Pokémon.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Supposing you actually have that power (again, this is Pokémon), anything I write down in narration and stuff is fair game. Anything deeper than that, feel free to ask and I will give you what I feel comfortable letting you have. This applies to any of his Pokémon, too.
Warnings: He's a nice guy, but prone to depression. If he ever should go berserk (though that would probably require Arceus spitting up his Alpha Stigma and the proper situation coming up), I'll put up a separate OOC post detailing how that works if needed. If he ever should get his Alpha Stigma back in general, I'll put up a separate permissions post for copying magic and stuff if it's going to be a long enough window of opportunity to warrant it. But that isn't going to come up any time soon if at all, probably, so... yeah.
