[CFUD] Stats and Permissions
Age: 20
Height: 180 cm (5'10.87")
Weight: Not a stick, but could serve to eat better
Medical Info: Physically healthy!
Eyes: dark brown, nearly black. When his Alpha Stigma activates, they are overlaid with glowy red pentacles of doom.
Hair: dark brown, nearly black. Straight, goes down to his shoulders. Kind of a little disheveled because he rarely cuts it.
Physical traits: He has a mark on his chest where some blond guy (who I’m sure he’ll never see again *cough*) stabbed him once. But aside from that (and his eyes), pretty normal.
Also, voices! His Japanese actor is Jun Fukuyama - I've heard he's just a little bit famous. His English actor is Ian Sinclair. Pick whichever one you like, or a mix! They both portray him excellently and awesomely, in my opinion, and I am flexible when it comes to these things.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Pretty much anything is fine, even if he might not like some things. …a-although if you could avoid telling him specifics about his future (though vague generalizations are fine) that would be swell. Fourth-walling is fine - know stuff about him and he'll just assume you found it out somewhere (probably from Sion), call him fictional and he'll think you're delusional, stuff like that.
Abilities: ☆ Hand to hand combat! Ryner was kind of brought up training as an assassin (against his will and he purposefully botched most of it), so he knows how to handle himself at least. His strengths lie more in magic, but squishy mage who would go down in one hit he is not.
☆ Magic! Ryner is a bit of a genius when it comes to magic, really. Strongest Magician in Roland, and for good reason. He knows your typical Roland repertoire* (the fire spell Kurenai, the water spell Misumi, the laser beam spell Kuuri, the silencing spell Ante, etc), as well as various things he’s stolen from mages of other countries with his Alpha Stigma (see below). Among others, there’s a wolf-spirit summoning spell and a stat-boost spell from Estabul, and a few attacks from Nelpha, Runa, and Gastark in there. Doubtless more will be added. He can also make up his own spells on the fly, though he’s not good at naming them. And tamper with other people's spells as they're being casted, if he gets there in time.
As a magic user, he's also capable of seeing the flow of energy in the atmosphere, termed "spirits".
*Izuchi is not included on this list because of a certain recent chain of events [that ended in, among other things, its erasure from existence]. Just thought I’d mention.
☆ Alpha Stigma! Ryner’s eyes are able to instantly analyze any magic he sees. This allows him to copy and use it himself, as well as come up with a way to counter it quickly. Of course, this is somewhat limited in that he can’t analyze hero relics and other things that have to do with gods, but it’s still very useful. For Camp purposes, I have an extra Permissions Post over here for whether people want him to copy their magic or not and to put up notes and stuff, though in general I will try to ask about it first if I can. When he uses this power, his eyes get glowy red pentacles overlaid atop them, so it’s hard to miss.
This power is also capable of going berserk when he witnesses someone he cares a great deal about getting badly hurt to the point of near death or dying (or it's force triggered by external factors like crystallized eyes or, well, Camp being Camp). He goes on a homicidal rampage and starts with even stronger red glowing eyes of doom and evil laughter and exploding everything and trying to kill everyone in his path until someone closes his eyes and/or knocks him unconscious. :'D Special techniques include giant explosive hand laser beams, making explosions happen around him with a thought, exploding people's faces, and when all else fails, just generally choking people to death.
But it's not an impossible situation - Ryner can and will fight the influence, as long as he's still somewhere in there, so to speak. And he has an incredible will save, just saying. It's fully possible to talk him down into a state where you can approach safely and close his eyes while he holds the crazy at bay... as long as he knows you and you dodge the explosions long enough to do it, anyway. If nothing else, if he recognizes you, he'll do everything he can to make sure you don't die at his hands, even if all he might be able to do for a passing acquaintance is to make his laser blasts easier to dodge during escape.
Needless to say, though, this shouldn't come up often - Ryner's will save is strong enough that it would take a huuuuuge trigger to cause him to berserk on his own at this point (like, say, Sion dying in front of him), and for hopefully obvious reasons, I intend to save influence in this direction from Camp effects for rare, special occasions. (Meanwhile, if you somehow get your hands on a crystallized Alpha Stigma and decide you want to use it (why would you)... please talk to me first, okay?)

So… Ryner is kind of not the only one in his head. In fact, in total, there are [four] separate beings in there, including himself, and while Ryner is generally the dominant one, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s not alone in there. So I’ll cover each in turn.
☆ Ryner Lute himself. [His original name is Feruna Lieutolu; while at this canon point he does know this, he's not about to bring it up and considers himself to be Ryner Lute, so. (If you do stuff involving true names, though, please talk to me? Just because of the others - I'm not sure how that works...)] Surface thoughts usually generally match how he’s acting, though he often prefers to make himself out to be less perceptive than he really is, especially around strangers. If you want deeper thoughts, let me know and I will be happy to provide.

The novels describe him as a terrifying demonic thing with red skin, sharp teeth and claws, wings, the Alpha Stigma’s pentacles as eyes… well, you get the point. The anime… well, it shows him as this weird mecha-ish thing. I don’t even know, just go with whichever you prefer for now and I’ll decide later if somehow this comes up. Neither of these is his true form, which is some kind of creepy spider thing, but. Alpha, as the source behind the Alpha Stigma’s curse, is the one who takes over when Ryner’s Alpha Stigma goes berserk. He is destruction and wants to destroy everything and kill everyone. Generally pings as BAD.
☆ The Solver of All Equations, half of the Lonesome Demon. Looks just like Ryner, except wearing clothes like a clown and with a teardrop tattooed under his left eye. He’s the most dormant of all of them to the point of being more or less asleep, and actually has been mostly assimilated by Ryner by this point I’m pretty sure. Not completely yet, but. He pings demon, but neutral. Actually he’s a pretty nice guy, if more than a little off in the head.
☆ Iruna Lieutolu, his mother, who keeps Alpha from devouring Ryner. Pings as loving and good.
As a note: Due to stuff that's happened in canon, Ryner is aware of Alpha and Iruna. He is not aware of the Solver yet, but do feel free to tell him about him if you want.

Maim/Murder/Death: Ask first please? I mean, among other things, Sion would be very likely to flip out at Ryner in danger...
Cooking: He… can probably stick a piece of meat over a fire and get it to not be raw anymore if he tries? But aside from that, he’s never bothered to learn. And really, though he knows good food when he sees it, he’s content with stale bread and dried potatoes.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him: Fourth walling/spoiler policy remains the same. I will, however, request that you avoid sexual matters (he's five!), and please don't traumatize the tiny.
Abilities: He still has the Alpha Stigma! It's slightly different in that he will die if he goes berserk, but still basically the same general thing. (Please don't traumatize the tiny.) Aside from that, though, all of his other abilities were trained later in life, so.

*Other acceptable spellings include but are not limited to Felna, Felner, Ferna, Ferner, etc. And if you want to use a different spelling than me, go for it! I'll know who you're talking about, and I've seen enough spelling wars to know that I don't want to start one. I'm just going with Feruna in my writing for now because that's what I'm used to, until the hypothetical day comes (I can dream, can't I?) when we get an actual official romanization. :)
