[Today, courtesy of a certain camera-wielding Paras (who is somehow feeling much better than usual today, thank you for asking), you get to see a rather interesting sight, dear network.

'Interesting' isn't specifically referring to how a certain lazy mage is sitting on a park bench and smiling cheerfully, by the way... although yes, that is somewhat odd. Oh, not the sitting part, but his attitude - has there been even one point over the past couple days where he hasn't been cheerfully smiling? And when you compare his usual 'everything is bothersome' grumpiness... but then, the weather has been great, and he has other reasons to be happy as well. ...Also the music might have something to do with it too, but. Details.

No, the truly interesting part, especially if you know much about his team, is the fact that perched on his arm, there is a Yanma. And this Yanma is actually relaxed and happy and not panicking and trying to get into the tightest corner she can for once, rather cheerfully eating the apple slices that Ryner gives her. Seriously, what is this? Rey, actually out of her own free will, and happy about it? The world must be ending or something.]

Ahaha, come on Rey, that tickles!

["Yan!" Well, that's what you get for holding onto the slice a little too long, you know - a dragonfly licking your fingers. :P]

["Yan..." She leans out a little, somewhat cautiously, in order to better examine the outstretched hand. She doesn't get close enough to touch it, but she doesn't shy away, either.]

[After a moment or two, and with no lack of nervousness, she does slowly lean out and touch her forehead against Sion's hand.]

Ah, looks like she likes you, Sion!

*will gently stroke the little Yanma's forehead, then, mindful of her reactions as to what she likes best*

Well, you're the first person I've ever seen her let get this close.

[She gives a happy "Ma~" when one of the strokes rubs in just the right way.]

Ah, she usually hides under the bed, really...

[even if there was the one time when she crawled up under his cloak while he was sleeping...

Maybe it is. The weather really has been great the past few days.

Yeah. Not sure why it changed so suddenly, but this is the kind of weather that just makes you want to sit back and enjoy, don't you think?

[His tone is rather light though, and he reaches his free hand slowly toward Dusk, in the hope of getting to pet her, though if she doesn't want it he'll understand.

Rey, meanwhile, flits off Ryner's arm and settles down on the ground next to the bench, stretching out her wings to sunbathe.]

It's easier to enjoy a good rest when there's nothing waiting to be done, you know. Besides, having a friend or two to help out makes it easier.

Well then, obviously you just need to take on less responsibility, and then when we finish, we can just sit here and relax together more often.
