[A certain lazy mage is grumpily sitting up in a tent right now, shivering a little and positively drenched. There's a Clefairy leaning up against his side, wrapped in a towel. The rain batters hard against the outside of the tent, though perhaps not as hard as it could - trees do tend to give a little bit of extra shelter against the wind and rain. Not much, mind, but a little.]

There are Pokémon that can control the weather, right? I'm just thinking, maybe a bunch of them caused this storm because they got so pissed off at all the crap in the cities. It's possible, right? I mean, well, I guess it could just be a coincidence, too, but...

...Haa, well, either way, it's just my luck that we'd get a bothersome storm every time I go through this forest, isn't it. This really sucks.

[There's a light approaching, cutting through the darkness. It's possible that Sion and Ryner's pokemon might react as the presence comes closer, lightning flashing just ahead of it.]

[With each stride it swallows more ground, barreling over the ground and slaloming through the trees at a breakneck pace. The intermittent flashes of light only serve to highlight Raikou's bright yellow pelt, its flashing eyes and red mask. It's making right for the boys, or at least their tent.]

Raikou has halted, a few feet away, peering at them through the black gloom. It sizes the boys up, its breath coming out in soft white puffs. These two do not smell of its brethren; they will be spared its wrath.

Still, Raikou roars, a sound that reverberates across the trees where even the wind and the rain seem to have gone quiet, as if the very world is listening.]
