[The scene on the video is a filled bathtub, with a fish swimming around in it. Fairly contently, by the look of it, but given the amount of water that seems to have also made it outside the tub... there may have been a bit of a scuffle.]

...Y'know, it'd have been nice to have had a warning. Even if whoever it was wanted to keep the species secret. I get that. Surprises and stuff. Not something I'd bother with, but if that's your thing, more power to you.

But at least something saying "This egg contains a fish" would've been nice, don't you think? Would mean I would've been able to have some water handy. And I might've been able to plan around who was out where and when.

But then, I guess not everybody has a goddamn homicidal starfish to deal with, huh...

I agree. Warnings of some kind would be nice. Like 'this egg contains a soul-sapping candle'.

Right? If it's dangerous or bothersome, it'd at least be polite to give a note.

Yeah. It was a while ago. I was carrying the egg in my bag and passed out suddenly.

Is that your Litwick? Is there any way to keep from being tired when one is outside its ball?

Ahh, no, she's a Lampent I inherited, actually. Instead of eating life energy, she eats souls that have just died.

So I don't really have that much experience when it comes to Litwicks, other than what I've read... I dunno, all I've got is maybe keep snacks around to keep your energy up?

They'll survive outside it, anyway, but they're way happier in water, I've noticed. Outside the water, all they can really do is kind of flop there...

I could try that. We've all been working to make sure there aren't too many sweets laying around because a friend's Spheal has taken to eating everything in sight. I'll have to keep them hidden.

I know how that goes - Sion's Glaceon has a huge sweet tooth... Maybe try a locked container?

That's a good idea. I think Boo was the only Pokemon of ours to cause any real problem when she hatched. Unless you count All the Owls.

All the Owls? ...Must've been a lot of Hoothoots.

That makes a lot of sense... Mijumaru is a water Pokémon and he loves it when he gets a chance to get into the water.

I've got two of them! A Samurott, that's Mijumaru, and my Floatzel, Buoysel!

I was still new. I didn't know what would happen if you left a couple of owls alone for too long. Claudy, my friend's Noctowl, liked to nest in her gym bag. I went upstairs to grab something for her and when I unzipped it...owls. Owls just...kept coming out. There were so many of them.

Walter stays in the PC now.

...Ouch. And here I thought the time I came back to a pile of forty eggs from everybody was bad...

Forty? There weren't that many owls...I'm...I'm so sorry.

Sion and I found them homes, so it could've been worse... I dunno what I would've done if I'd come back to even a handful of those if they'd hatched already though.

That's good. Heather and I had to give away our owls. I think her dad kept one though.

That's nice. Ahh, that means the parents get to watch one of their kids grow up, anyway.

Er, well, he went home. But my Troipus's mother belongs to my best friend. They get to play often. It's pretty cute.

He's so much like her too. I hope none of the owlets we gave away are like Walter though.

I've found it depends. Jina and Jiru have some of Jiji's traits, but not all of them. On the other hand, Lori kind of takes a bit more after Gail sometimes...

Do any of them attack humans?

Them? No. Not unless we're sparring, but that doesn't really count, and besides that's usually Rose wanting to do that anyway...

That's good. I was sort of worried Walter's Hoot Hoot...lets...would turn out violent like him. I'm not sure what happened to him in the wild but he's always been aggressive.

Too bad they can't put warnings like that on eggs.

Oh, a Clefairy! It's my first time meeting one.

That would be nice... Ahh, but I doubt they'll turn out that way if they went to good homes.

Ahh, from what I've read, most of them are kind of shy. Rose is an exception...

I haven't yet. Ahh, but from what I've read, yeah, they could definitely use one. Explosions are never a good thing.
