[A certain lazy mage is grumpily sitting up in a tent right now, shivering a little and positively drenched. There's a Clefairy leaning up against his side, wrapped in a towel. The rain batters hard against the outside of the tent, though perhaps not as hard as it could - trees do tend to give a little bit of extra shelter against the wind and rain. Not much, mind, but a little.]

There are Pokémon that can control the weather, right? I'm just thinking, maybe a bunch of them caused this storm because they got so pissed off at all the crap in the cities. It's possible, right? I mean, well, I guess it could just be a coincidence, too, but...

...Haa, well, either way, it's just my luck that we'd get a bothersome storm every time I go through this forest, isn't it. This really sucks.

As long as it's just a dead tree, I imagine Dusk and Jehra could do something about that.

Last time, it was a normal rainstorm. This time, I've felt a few earthquakes, too.

Ah... anything that can learn Rain Dance, Sunny Day, or Hail, I'm pretty sure. Though, usually it only affects a small area, as far as I know, so it'd have to be either a Pokémon that's really powerful or a bunch of them working together, in order to make a storm this big...

Obviously the more you go through the forest, the worse the storms become.

None that I've ever met, myself. There are a few legends I read back in Ecruteak that talked about a few that might be able to, but...

But even so... he has claimed credit for at least two incidents, hasn't he? They may have been easily thwarted, but I wonder if what he may do by accident would be more dangerous than his actual plans...

And of course, it's certainly suspicious that he the only person outside of this "Team Rocket" who's been committing such acts.

No guarantee he isn't a part of it and just denying it. He did demand the release of any imprisoned members back when he attacked the Academy, after all. Don't know who would bother with that if they weren't at least connected somehow.

In my experience, such legends tend to be at least based in fact. What, exactly, did you read about?
