[Somewhere, somehow, there is a pile of slimes. It's a pretty impressive pile, several feet high. Blue blobby things all grinning cheerfully.

Of course, this would be just an amusing, if odd, sight, if it wasn't for the fact that at the bottom of that slime pile, there's a single human arm sticking out... and twitching.

If you listen closely, you might even be able to hear a strained voice from beneath them all...]

...somebody... a little help...

which basically means he manages to push a slime out of the way of his face]

[ and here's a victory sign for your trouble! if he can take the time to be super asian, he can also take the time to help you... you'd think. but he's just calmly observing the situation, as though endlessly amused. or trying to count how many slimes really are piled on top of you.

Er, well, that aside, it's kind of hard to breathe under here...

Really? But I even put on my most reassuring tone of voice...

Ahh, well, it's more the situation... I'm kind of being buried alive, here, after all.

It's a pile of love. [ crouching down next to! ]

Yeah, well, love hurts.

[The slimes sure are smiling.]

Some things hurt more, some things are known to hurt less.

[ after that vaguely philosophical comment, he removes one slime from the pile, and puts it next to him. ]

[The slime you removed seems content either way. It doesn't really do much to the pile, but hey, every drop counts.]

It'd really suck to die here like this...

I didn't even have a chance to prepare a eulogy.

No eulogy, huh. Well, never expected to get one of those anyway, so that's fine.

Mm, I didn't say there won't be one. Just that I didn't have a chance to prepare one.

I see. Too bad I won't get to hear it, then, since, y'know, I'll be crushed to death.
