☆3☆ [Video]
[It's mid-Friday afternoon (despite the timing of this entry), and a certain lazy mage is walking down Route 30. His Cleffa partner is, of course, riding on his head, playing with his hair. (It's not that long, according to his homeland's standards, but there's enough there that she's quite entertained.) He doesn't seem to care too much, though, even as he decides to talk to the Pokégear network.]
So, uh... last night, I was looking through that 'breeder's guide' or whatever it's called that was in the bag I found when I got here, and --
Hey, you there! Let's battle!
...Eh?
[Some people will, of course, naturally recognize the other voice before the video turns to show the source. It's Youngster Joey, everyone's favorite NPC! :)]
You've got a Pokémon, right? That means you're a trainer, so you can't say no! Go, Rattata! [He sends out his Rattata, known for being in the top percentage of Rattata.]
Haaa?! W-Wait a minute! We're not looking to fight anyone!
But you're a trainer! You can't refuse, so send out your Pokémon already!
But --
["Cleffa!" And his Cleffa jumps off his head, landing just in front of him, looking ready to fight.]
Rose...?
[She turns and stares seriously at her trainer.]
...You're sure...?
["Fa." She nods, her tone with a slight hint of 'honestly, you really need to just go with it'.
He takes a moment, but eventually groans.] This really sucks... Fine, go on then. But remember, minimal injury!
[Rose's response is a sweet smile and a "Clef!" before she leaps into battle. There's one more sigh from Mr. Lazy Mage before he turns the feed off - whatever it was he was going to ask about, it apparently isn't important enough right now.
Any responses will, of course, come after Rose triumphs over her foe.]
