[Today, the 'gear is turned on when it accidentally falls out of Ryner's pocket, and the video it's recording is... chaotic.

There are Omanytes and Archens everywhere, with the occasional Omastar or Archeops going past, and an Absol and Clefairy trying to go easy on them but knock them out. Jehra is just using False Swipe on them; Rose is taking this as an opportunity to practice controlling the power of her Doubleslap.

Oh, but the more interesting thing might be the Gyarados roaring in the background - a roar of both pain and fury - as she lashes and snaps at the various fossils that are trying to climb all over her. The water she's splashing around is making quite a mess.]

Fyn, you've gotta calm down! We'll go somewhere else and relax for a while, maybe have something special to celebrate, but you need to calm down!

[But the Gyarados isn't listening, instead continuing to roar and lash her tail at anything in the area, fossil or not. A large rock gets swept up in one of these lashes and flies toward Ryner unexpectedly, but a Mienfoo quickly Low Kicks it into harmless pieces.]

Thanks, Tei. ...Ahh, dammit. Fine, guess I'll have to get up there and calm you down myself, huh. Glen, can I get your help here?

["Tik!" The tiny!spider on Ryner's shoulder is ready and willing to help out with that.

An Omanyte tries to grab hold of the 'gear at this point, but a shiny Togepi notices this and pushes the Omanyte away with Ancientpower before grabbing it and turning it off.]

I suppose that's a good point. Though Sprinkles doesn't seem to mind his. At lease not when he's tired of walking.

[He swats his arm at an assaulting Archen or two. One of them attacks with AncientPower, but the tiny!spider uses Protect to shield everyone from harm.]

[For a minute she's not sure if he's talking to her, but well, the swatting leads her to believe that he's not.]

Looks like you do! He's pretty good, huh?

[He take a moment to get his gripping again before giving a quick pat to the Joltik.]

Yeah. Glen's pretty awesome. I'd trust him with pretty much anything.

They swarm in a troublesome way a few times a year, though they don't always attack, exactly...

[A stray Thunderbolt launches overhead, to which Fyn roars and Ryner gets pissed.]

Dammit, Rose! You know the rules, and besides, are you trying to hurt her too???
