☆54☆ [Video]

You know, I was actually kind of prepared, this time. Dunno whether that says more about me having been here too long so I know their schedule, or about them that they have a schedule in the first place.

[The video today is of a pile of eggs that are all sprawled out blankets and pillows and the like. A Clefairy is off in the background having what appears to be a staring contest with a Ditto, except that instead of just saying things, the Clefairy keeps repeating "fai... fai..." and the Ditto keeps correcting "di... di..." But surely that's not important, since the focus is on the eggs.]

Hell, why September and March, of all months? How regular it is makes you wonder if it's some kind of special reason for it, especially knowing Rose, but there isn't anything I can think of in either month, since that was November...

...Ahh, well, either way. I've got eggs for sale, again. I'll write up a list, and I think I've got the egg moves right, if Rose gave me the right parents anyway... I'll take care of delivery, no problem. Just want to see them get to good homes, y'know?

[Attached is a photo of the list. Shiny chance (which I will draw tomorrow) is not IC knowledge! But egg moves are. Also, there are still tons of eggs left if you want them!]
tentacletrainer: (Well it's all very simple really.)

Perhaps it's sort of an internal clock thing? They say women often have something that nags them to have children every so often when they're younger. At least that's what I've heard.
tentacletrainer: (That's very kind of you to say.)

Or maybe they just prefer those times of the seasons. Fall and Spring are two of the prettiest ones after all.
tentacletrainer: (You really don't know what you're saying)

True, true. I don't know. Have you considered asking them to wait?
tentacletrainer: (This is who?)

Perhaps! I've known quite a few Pokemon who respect the wishes of their trainers. ...Well. Those who are well mannered anyway.
tentacletrainer: (That's very kind of you to say.)

[[The blonde has to chuckle on the other end.]]

Only half the time, hm? When are those times?
tentacletrainer: (This is who?)

Hmm...have you considered trying to hold off with bribing and instead rewarding her?
tentacletrainer: (I can't believe you just said that.)

[[...sorry. She's not laughing at you, she promises. And it's more of a giggle than a full on laugh...]]

It doesn't seem that way, no! What is Rose? Is she the Clefairy in the background of your video today?
tentacletrainer: (And then Frigglish said to the frog-)

[[Aww, it's not incompetence! Just...difficulty, that's all!]]

Hmm... [[There's the sound of pages in a notebook being flipped for a bit before a soft 'Ah, here we go.']]

Have you considered keeping another Clefairy? They seem to be very close to members of their own kind, and having a Clefairy - or, perhaps better, a Clefable - around to be a good influence might help get her to listen to you more. Even having someone who owns one travel with you might help, so that Rose could see the relationship that Clefairy and it's trainer have.
tentacletrainer: (I'm sorry. Did you say something?)

[[She knows how that goes...]]

There's a good chance it might! Provided the new Clefairy is well mannered, at least. But I'm sure it would be like a family almost, where the younger siblings often gleam habits and behavior off the older siblings. Clefairy and Clefable mainly live together rather than sharing their space with an abundance of other Pokemon. It could easily be in her nature to follow after another Clefairy.
