[So someone has decided to make a fort of blankets and pillows in the corner of the bedroom, and despite a certain Clefairy tugging at his pant leg to try and get him to come out, he's not budging.]

No way, Rose! Every time this happens, I get buried in crap or something else bothersome happens! I'm just gonna wait it out until everything calms down, and nothing annoying's gonna happen.

[Care to glitch into his room and prove him wrong?]

Because while he won't hesitate to do whatever it takes to survive, or whatever it takes to save Yu, when he's not threatened nor is there anything that seems likely to bring him closer to Yu, well, at heart he's more the type inclined to protect people more than anything*

*well okay he's a little startled by that, since he definitely wasn't expecting to run into someone, though luckily for all the fact that he had one hand on the door handle meant he had a split second to register what was going on before he did anything silly like going for his sword again*

[Well, with a polite smile, she'll take that cue to enter - she's not that daft to stay in the doorway - before putting her platter down on the bed briefly and asking the unexpected guest, because this is Marian we're talking about...]

I see. Would you like anything to eat or drink before you go?

*he's already heading out the door, though he glances back with a bland expression at that*

*aaand he's heading out of the bedroom, though he's pausing before going further, since boy that sure is a lot of those strange-looking critters wandering around...*

["Fair..." Rose, however, looks rather impressed with their visitor just ignoring Marian like that. ...Which, when Ryner notices, he flicks her forehead for.]

[Outside the bedroom, there sure are plenty of assorted critters around, yes ^^ Just some examples of the visible-from-here ones that are specifically Ryner's, you might see:

:: some kind of bug with mushrooms on its back clutching a small stone firmly as it scuttles down the hall

:: a yellow spider-tick happily weaving a web up in the space between the bedroom door and the ceiling

:: a couple cat-things that stand on two legs and apparently have some sort of psychic powers having a 'disagreement' with a giant knife bird in the bathroom

:: ...and a giant red moth just. sitting there on a wall somewhere.

None of them seem to take notice of the mystery guest immediately though. ...Well, who knows about the moth, but you can never tell with moths.]

*yeah, that's.... interesting, and he's definitely eyeing some of those rather warily while he takes a moment to look around for the quickest way out of here*

[Well, there are the stairs down. Or I guess you could look to find a window you can jump out or something but do you want to break this guy's windows really...?

...also, with a loud thud, the moth thing just kind of falls off the wall and plops onto the ground.]

*or hop the balcony instead of bothering with the stairs, which is what he's considering doing when that sudden thud startles him, causing him to look around sharply. It's fairly obvious though that there's nothing to be concerned about, so with a small sigh of exasperation Mika walks up to the rail, pausing for a moment to make sure there's a clear spot to land...*

*just about that time, however, there's the sound of the outside door opening as someone has finally finished seeing to the pokemon out in the yard, no thanks to a certain lazy mage...*

[Well, the balcony is a fair exit point.

...But the sound of the door is something Ryner will notice. ...And okay maybe he's coming out of the room just to follow along and make sure things go smoothly going out because just because he can promise about his own half of the population doesn't mean...

...Heck, maybe he'll just shout down. Because why not.]

There's a vampire leaving the house, and he's not looking to hurt anybody, but Jehra freaked out when he showed up, and I'd rather avoid more misunderstandings.

*that's... unexpected. though given what time of year it is, yeah certainly not impossible. which is why his hand is remaining firmly on the absol in a silent command to stand down.

Dusk, for her part, still looks very much on edge despite that as she accompanies Sion inside, staying protectively at his side*

Jehra got jumpy 'cause he sensed the guy's dangerous, the guy pulled out a sword in response, there was almost a fight, I'd really rather avoid fighting around here today...

*well, in that case Sion will, while Ryner explains, go over to have a seat on the opposite side of the living room area. Dusk is naturally right by his side, keeping a careful eye on things (because really, it's so rare that Sion's potentially facing an external threat that the absol is more than a little protective), though once he's seated Sion has her sit by him, putting a reassuring but still firm arm around her just in case.

and, of course, thus leaving a clear path to the door that doesn't require going too near a nervous absol*

There's the scampering of paws up the stairs as a certain two-tailed cat-like critter comes running up. Looks like Jiru wants to play messenger today, and gives an affirmative "Esp~" that yeah, Sion's got things handled.]

Ahh, things are handled down there, Jiru?

["Eo~~~n" yes now give me scritches?]

*the "Mr. Vampire" bit is getting you something of a look--it's not like you bothered to introduce yourself after your scythe monster nearly attacked him, after all. :| He says nothing though, instead striding up to the balcony railing and taking a moment to glance around and be sure the coast is clear. Perhaps a little obviously, he doesn't QUITE trust all these strange creatures you have running around, and... well, nevermind, it's entirely understandable if he's a little thrown off by suddenly finding himself in such a strange place, right?

In any case, it only takes him a moment to size things up, then with an ease that's definitely not human, he vaults himself himself smoothly over the rail, landing lightly on the floor below as easily as if he'd hopped down a single stairstep*

[To be fair, be honest, do you really care what his name is...?

But Ryner's not going to comment further either, just watch to make sure you get down okay.

(Rose, however, will applaud. Even her dear partner can't do that :o]
