Alpha Stigma Permissions Post
Oct. 31st, 2010 04:50 pmSo, let's talk magic.
Ryner's eyes have the power of Alpha Stigma, which allows him to instantly analyze any magic he sees, as well as copy and come up with a counter for it (with a few limitations, mostly that it doesn't work on anything having to do with gods). Obviously it has to be an actual magic spell and not a spell-like ability, and if it requires a physical component that he doesn't have he wouldn't be able to copy it, and there might be other things I'm not thinking of, but...
My question to you is: Is it okay for Ryner to be able to analyze/copy your characters' magic? If it steps on your plans OOCly, I'm perfectly fine with coming up with some excuse why he can't or just never give him the opportunity. And if you are fine with it, could you tell me about it so that I know how it works if he does see it?
Thanks a lot. ^^

[Route] Outbreak results
Oct. 31st, 2010 11:01 pmFor the next few months, Ryner is afflicted with the following mutations (due to rolling an electric 4 during the Outbreak plot):
Physical Effects
☆ His irises have turned red - he'll be wearing sunglasses until this one goes away
☆ A few black, almost tiger-like stripes on his face, arms, and chest (much of that last one is usually hidden by clothing)
☆ His hair is even more untameable than usual (that's a feat), and a streak down the left side has turned a striking blond, in stark contrast to the dark brown/black.
☆ His fingernails have hardened considerably and their growth rate has increased
☆ Some mild (dark brown/black) hair growth on his shoulders, kind of in the style of shoulder armor (though this is usually hidden by clothing)
Psychological Effects*
☆ Glen the Joltik is especially cuddly
☆ Significantly less lethargic than usual - not super energetic to the point of jumpiness or paranoia or anything, but not constantly sleepy all the time either
☆ A dislike of sand and dirt, to the point of actually slightly caring about cleanliness for once
*which he will fervently deny if they're pointed out
