This Mime Jr. hatched from the egg Ryner received as a prize from Nephelis' scavenger hunt. Really, it's amazing it took this long. Things started out a little bit awkwardly between Ryner and Alfonse, simply because Ryner was not expecting to suddenly have a reminder of his own role in things back home thrust into his lap unexpectedly. Luckily, Rose smoothed things over and even gave Alfonse her own (biased) interpretation of why Ryner was so surprised, and Ryner, to his credit, has tried very hard not to let that mess color this relationship. Which is to say, Ryner and Alfonse aren't as close as they could be, but they make it work.
